Roadblocks: User research hit a wall. Clients only said "we want accurate, readable data" with no deeper insight to work from.

I kept going back to the user discussion archives to find anything substantial other than “We want the data to be accurate and easy to read” and that’s when I realized it’s the most important feedback we need.

The Action: Adopted "progressive information and operation access". We showed users only what's relevant to their current task, even within a complex feature set.

Result: Task completion improved drastically. The system guided users to their goal and became the core flow of the whole product.

My Learnings: In complex products, users often can't articulate what they need. The designer's job is to reframe the problem and adapt the process itself, not just the UI.
